I bought this to replace a similar fan that broke when it fell off a table. This fan is noticeably louder, but its also much, MUCH stronger than the old fan. So, now I can put the fan further across the room and hence the humming is less noticeable . So, with all things considered I’d prefer to have this fan further away cooling the entire room than having the older fan mere inches from my face.

Instructions for use
